What a summer we have had... heat and gigs and laughter... and lots of friends, old and new. The bus has been to many places, played to different audiences who laughed with us, sang along, and all who eventually gave in and danced. I want to thank you all, especially the pink wig wearers who got that dancing going.
There is so much to be joyful for, the festivals, and the bars, and pubs... here are just a a few summer postcards...in no particular order.
Llanfyllin Steampunk festival
In the wilds of north mid wales stands a workouse, llanfyllin workhouse where ghosts wander, and we returned to the llanfyllin steampunk festival for our second year, to make lots of new friends. The sun shone, music rang out around the hillside, and we again danced and sang into the night.

Whoever knew so much fun was to be had with a cup of tea and a digestive biscuit, or two. Our first experience of tea dueling... and we found out who the most competitive members of the band were...
If you have not tried this sport...do it, it is a lot of fun
This is a festival we love to go back too.
Heaven is Folk on the Lawn, an amazing festival set in the borders by Tintern Abbey. Amazing organizers, friendly atmosphere, brilliant musicians, great audiences, a fun campsite, professional sound engineers, and sunshine...

36.5 degrees of sunshine at 4 p.m. We sat under awnings soaked through to keep cool, listening to the music float over the Wye's waters and around the valley.
Playing both the main stage on the Friday early evening and the Cottage stage on the Saturday Headline spot....was amazing..... the cottage stage was a delight in the warn evening air, the night dancers, singing audience, wonderful atmosphere and everyone dancing and chanting for more. One of those nights we will remember for ever. And we have already been invited back for next year....can't wait.
Goth Night
With the evenings starting to draw in and a chill in the air, we all dressed in our best black...and headed to hanger 18 night club in Swansea.....

For the first time ever we felt underdressed as the audience flowed in, young and old in a delious array of costumes. What a wonderful evening, the audience danced, and we danced, and it felt like we were as one, and everyone could be themselves. would love to do another one of these nights.
Gloucester Steampunk Summer Shenanigans.
The acoustics of a church, the receptiveness of the steampunk audience is amazing, an evening full of warmth and waltzes. And there was lots of singing along. Steampunk at its best...

When we mention steampunk, a number of people say they don't want punk. We smile and say we are not punk; it is folk, but we are dressed in an era that is becoming known as steampunk... an imaginary world where it is still the steam age, and there are fun mechanical inventions and a different timeline.... An era of imagination...
The Railway Inn
Our spiritual home, returning to where the band began, second hottest afternoon of the summer, short skirts to keep cool, good beer full of cheer.
Friends, and laughter and the pink wig. This award winning Inn, is a place to been in the summer
Pontardawe Folk and Ale Festival
A cooler autumn where the dancing keeps us all warm, being part of this festival was a dream with so many amazing bands, including one of Scary Jane's favorites... The Rob Lear Band... At the end of the night, she was the one singing along...
Thank you to all of you, those that booked us, that came to see us......Thank you for the singing and the friendship.....
We are now looking forwards to Halloween....in the meantime we are starting to record our first album
